Abstract Submissions
The TSRC Editorial Committee is now accepting abstracts for this year’s conference. Abstracts must be submitted through the official Abstract Submission Portal and prepared using the required abstract submission template. Submissions will only be accepted in Word or PDF format and must follow the template provided.
To be considered for review, presentations must include new data and be relevant to tobacco or tobacco-related products. Abstracts should clearly state the objectives of the work, the methods used, the results obtained, and the implications of those results. The Editorial Committee evaluates submissions based solely on the content of the abstract. Very brief or vague abstracts, or those lacking conclusions or supporting data, will not be accepted.
Submission of your abstract includes acceptance that the abstract will be published in the official conference program, may be broadcasted to the conference body and may be posted on the CORESTA web site. This includes your abstract, final PowerPoint slides, or electronic Poster file.
All abstracts must be received no later than May 15, 2026.
Please note the following:
- The Editorial Committee reserves the right to make minor editorial changes (e.g., to correct typographical errors).
- Abstracts must be at least 180 words and no more than 275 words in length.
- Confirmation of receipt will be provided to the principal author. Receipt confirmation does not constitute acceptance of the submission.
Technical Sessions: Technical sessions will focus on specific topics and will be organized by subject matter. Authors are encouraged to select their preferred session topic during the abstract submission process; however, the Editorial Committee will make the final session assignments.
Poster Sessions: Poster sessions will be organized by subject matter and held on Monday and Tuesday. Authors are required to be present during their assigned session time. If an author is unable to attend, the poster will not be included in the program.
Workshops and Panels: Workshops and panel discussions will be included in this year’s program. These sessions will provide technical reviews on topics of broad interest and may not promote commercial products or services. Submissions must include a complete outline of the proposed content, along with the names of confirmed or planned speakers.
TSRC Scholarship Program: We warmly invite and encourage individuals who work outside of a laboratory setting — including current graduate students — to participate by submitting abstracts and attending the conference.
To encourage contributions and participation, up to two graduate student scholarships will be awarded by the TSRC Editorial Committee based on the merit of the work described in the submitted abstract. To be considered, applicants must complete and upload the scholarship form during the Abstract Submission process within the portal.
