University of Kentucky Center for Tobacco Reference Products - FDA Cooperative Agreement Workshop
The Center for Tobacco Reference Products at the University of Kentucky will host a workshop starting at 3:00 PM on September 16thprior to the start of the 72nd Tobacco Science Research Conference.
At the workshop, we will discuss the production of new smokeless reference tobacco products (loose-leaf chewing tobacco, moist snuff and two snus products) and the status of CTPR reference cigarettes. Other topics will include an update on the development of additional certified tobacco reference products, A2LA accreditation as a Proficiency Testing Provider, the CIG-2018A, CIG-2018B, and CIG-2018C proficiency testing rounds and plans for future proficiency testing.
The workshop is meant to engage stakeholders to obtain feedback on tobacco reference products and programs being initiated within the CTRP with support from the FDA CTP.
